Welcome to the K-ACTE Annual Summer Conference - Strategies for Success! We are very excited that you will be attending.
Tuesday July 30, 2024 9:30am - 10:20am CDT
Join the folks from the Kansas Center for CTE and Nikkolas Nelson, KSDE Licensure Coordinator, as they discuss the benefits of the CTE Restricted Certificate and how it can help in retaining beginning and transitioning CTE Teachers. The investment that a district or institution puts into hiring and training a new teacher is very significant. The experiences gained from completing the requirements of the CTE Restricted Certificate have shown to dramatically increase teacher retention. Less teacher turnover is good for not only the institution in cost savings but is also beneficial for student success as well.
