KACTE Summer Conference 2024

What's the buzz about Kids Feeding Kids? Attend this interactive session to engage with a panel of your colleagues who have partnered with Kids Feeding Kids in their classroom or attended a Kids Feeding Kids Summer Educator Institute.  Watch video reactions from educators and students about their experience in the Kids Feeding Kids classroom, and view artifacts from many of the 23 classrooms we've partnered with.  Facilitated by Diane Mora, Kids Feeding Kids' Education Director, workshop participants will leave with how to's and guidance for hosting a project in their classroom. Kids Feeding Kids is a program of Pete's Garden, a Kansas-City based nonprofit whose mission is to provide no-cost learning materials to analyze the causes of food insecurity along with funding of ingredients for classes to prepare up to 1,000 free meals for distribution to families in their local communities.
